If you already are familiar with the work of Woodford County artist Debbie Graviss,  you know how bold her graphic pastel images can be.  Perhaps you’ve seen her amazing animal portraits at Francisco’s Farm, June 23 & 24 this year at Equus Run Winery, or attended benefits which she supports,  like the Woodford County Humane Society’s Freedom Fest fundraiser featuring designer decor, coming up on July 20 & 21, with a preview day on June 28.

Now, Graviss has added florals to her repertoire,  creating large and close-up images in brilliant colors, which are absolutely gorgeous.  The slideshow above give a hint of their impact, but for the full effect, you’ll want to visit her show at the Lexington’s New Editions Gallery this month.   Click the link here :  New Editions Gallery at 807 Euclid Avenue in Lexington, and make plans to visit in person; the show is up until June 30, 2012.
